Supporting Young Entrepreneurs through Opportunity & Access

Launch It is proud to be featured as a beneficiary in a recent article from The Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs, celebrating the impact of The Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs Trust and the organisations it supports. The feature highlights how their generous funding is helping create new opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs, including through our Angel Yard hub in Edmonton.


Creating Pathways Into Entrepreneurship


The article showcases the work of the Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs Trust and the difference its support is making across communities. As one of the Trust’s beneficiaries, Launch It has received a grant that helps subsidise a year’s business unit at Angel Yard, giving a disadvantaged young entrepreneur access to affordable workspace alongside the guidance and support needed to grow.


Beyond providing a place to work, this support helps connect young founders with coaching, training, mentoring and a wider entrepreneurial community, creating the foundations for long-term business growth and independence.

Why This Support Matters


At Launch It, we believe that talent and ambition exist everywhere, but opportunity is not always equally accessible. By reducing the cost barriers and providing expert guidance, partnerships like this help young entrepreneurs take their first steps towards building sustainable businesses and long-term economic independence.


Angel Yard sits at the heart of one of London’s most deprived communities and our mission is to ensure that young people with ideas are given the resources, confidence and support to turn those ideas into reality.


We’re incredibly grateful to the Entrepreneurs Trust for recognising the potential of young entrepreneurs and investing in the support systems that help them thrive. At a time when the UK faces a growing challenge around youth opportunity - with the recent Young People and Work interim report highlighting that nearly one million young people aged 16–24 are not in education, employment or training — providing accessible routes into enterprise has never been more important.


Through partnerships like this, we can continue creating opportunities for young people to build skills, confidence and businesses, helping them move towards greater economic independence and brighter futures.
